The New Social Brandscape

Here’s another superb picture I found while browsing the web. It shows the “old social brandscape” on one side and the “new social brandscape” on the other side.  I would recommend taking a few minutes to really look carefully at a larger version of this picture.

The “old social brandscape”:
Coca Cola
Mcdonalds
Ford
Walt Disney
IBM
Microsoft
New York Times
Nescafe
Nokia
Sony
Nike
Budweiser
Gap
Citi
Apple Pepsi
Canon
Marlboro
American Express
The “new social brandscape”:
Google
Microsoft
Sony
Amazon
IBM
Burger King
Starbucks
Opensocial
Facebook
Youtube
Dell
Wikipedia
EA
Hulu
CNN
Apple
Flickr
Ford
GM
Twitter

Looks like society as a whole is better on the “new social brandscape” side. So I’ll be seeing you on that side.

  4. Great Picture,
Interesting to see a visual interpretation of an age old revenue raiser. It's just so interesting that you can sell "virtual space" for so much these days. It's all about getting eyes on your site right!?
