TweetBoard Review – True Twitter Conversation

For those who haven’t noticed I recently added a new feature to my blog: TweetBoard.  I added TweetBoard instead of the Twitter bubble in my header because the bubble took too much space, only displayed one tweet, and wasn’t engaging. Which brought me to Tweetboard, a ” fun and engaging micro-forum type application for your website.” It takes tweets from your stream, posts them into threaded converstations allowing visitors to converse on your website through Twitter.

Pros:

  • Creates a viral stream of traffic from Twitter
  • Engages your visitors
  • Takes up a small amount of space
  • Sleak, customizable design
  • Free

Cons:

  • Only alpha invites
  • Image is slightly misleading and cannot be changed

Button: (Click the real button on the left to try it out)

Price: Free

For more information visit: TweetBoard. Since the service only offers alpha invites for now, if you are interested email me and I will send you the script for your site.

    • Hey Chandan, I’m glad that you like this tool. I’m probably going to start writing more reviews on tools such as these so more bloggers could have the chance to use them.

  5. I love the fact that it’s not in the sidebar, but is there a way to monitor the CTR to see if anyone is actually looking at it?

Still no subscribe to comments plugin?

  6. I definitely liked it when I first saw it on the side of your site. I like how it becomes a twitter client for the user as well, where they can tweet for themselves right from your site.

It’s much better than having to have someone leave your website to access their account…

  8. It looks visually stunning yet It does look like it slows down your website , any idea if it does slow down load speed?

    • It for sure is, I don’t think though that it slows down my loading time. I know that my blog doesn’t load very quickly but I’m pretty sure that it’s not due to Tweetboard.
